The distinction
Natural essential oils are not always the correct material, and pretending otherwise costs brands money. Some scents have no natural source at all — there is no such thing as a strawberry or a sea-breeze essential oil. Others exist naturally but are prohibitively expensive, unstable in a surfactant base, or carry allergens a mass-market product cannot afford.
A fragrance oil is a compounded blend, built to smell like a target and to perform in a specified base. A nature-identical oil is a single molecule matching a naturally occurring one, made synthetically. Both are legitimate materials with legitimate uses — the dishonesty is in selling either one as a natural essential oil, which we do not do.

The full range
Around seventy ready-to-use fragrances across fine, personal care, home and air care. Samples supplied on a scent strip and in your base.
Single molecules matching naturally occurring compounds, for consistency, cost and allergen control.
Specification
A fragrance is only useful if it survives your base. Everything below is confirmed for your specific application before you commit to a drum.

Frequently asked
An essential oil is extracted from a single botanical and contains only what that plant produced. A fragrance oil is compounded from aroma chemicals and, often, natural materials, and is designed to smell like a target and to perform in a specific base. Fragrance oils are frequently more stable, more consistent and far cheaper — and they are not natural, which is exactly how we sell them.
IFRA compliance is a property of a fragrance in a specific application category, not of an oil in the abstract — the same material can be compliant in a candle and non-compliant in a lip product. Tell us the application and we will confirm the IFRA category and supply the documentation where applicable.
Usually, yes. Send a sample of the finished product or the fragrance itself and we will develop toward it. Expect two to three revision rounds to a signed-off submission. We will not knowingly reproduce a protected formulation, and an exact match is rarely necessary — brands usually want the impression, not the molecule-for-molecule copy.
Some do and some seize, accelerate or discolour badly at high pH. This is why we test in your actual base rather than quoting a generic suitability. Tell us the process and the recipe and we will send materials that have been through it.
Yes, against the EU-declarable fragrance allergen list, which your Responsible Person will need for the Product Information File and CPNP notification. Flash point is also declared for transport classification and candle safety.
One kilogram for trials and 25 kg for contract pricing. Custom development samples are supplied in small quantities during the brief.

Tell us what it should smell like and what it has to perform in. You will get samples on a strip and in your base, dosage guidance, and an honest answer where a scent will not hold up in that application.
