We buy from growers, not from a broker's warehouse
Most tea reaching a private label buyer has been through an auction and one or two brokers. That is efficient, and it means nobody in the chain can tell you which garden picked the leaf or how. We work with foothill growers in Uttarakhand directly and with Assam estates for CTC and black leaf, which lets us log garden and season against a blend and gives us a say in how the leaf is plucked.
It also means the people doing the plucking are people we know. Our collection and plucking teams are women-led, and a share of every order goes back into the communities that grow for us.

The most useful brief we receive is rarely a list of ingredients. It is a description of the cup — how it should taste, how strong, how it should look in a glass pot, what it must cost landed, and who is meant to drink it. From that we build a formula, sample it, adjust it and document it so batch fifty tastes like batch one.

Around 1,000 units per SKU for finished retail packs — a 20-bag carton counts as one unit — and 25 kg for bulk blended leaf. Custom printed pyramid tags and cartons carry their own print minimums, which we confirm at quotation rather than after you have committed.
Yes, and it is most of what we do. Send a recipe, a benchmark product or simply the cup profile and the price point you need to hit. We blend, sample, adjust and document the final formula so every subsequent batch matches the one you approved.
The pyramid mesh we use for the biodegradable line is plant-based and composts in a food waste stream. Nylon pyramids are also available and are not compostable — we tell you which you are buying, because "plastic-free" is a claim European retail buyers now audit rather than accept.

We supply the composition, contaminant, pesticide and allergen documentation your importer file needs.
Blend samples in 7–10 working days. Production is typically 3–5 weeks from artwork and blend approval, depending on print lead time for tags and cartons — printing, not blending, is usually the critical path. Indicative sea freight is 25–35 days to EU ports and 18–28 days to Australian and New Zealand ports.
Both. True teas come from Camellia sinensis; herbal infusions — chamomile, peppermint, rooibos, moringa, tulsi, hibiscus — do not, and in most markets they are labelled differently. We make and blend both, and we get the labelling distinction right, which matters more than it sounds.
